I claim:     1. A tissue pneumatic separator comprising a source of a compressed gas under pressure, means connected to the source of gas for directing gas therefrom at tissue to be separated, including a pneumatic activated floating tip adapted to be applied to body tissue at a wound site, positioned on the tissue pneumatic separator through which the gas is directed at the tissue the position of which tip is determined by the pressure of the gas and external mechanical force applied thereto in opposition to the gas pressure.
