Abstract:     Management of location information communicated using wireless devices and communication networks. Authorization to access location information may be granted implicitly, explicitly or in light of predetermined circumstances. Location information and navigation tools can be used to find, or avoid, a particular location. Location information may be generated by a mobile device-based section, by a communication network-based section or by a combination of device-based and network-based sections. Location information may be integrated with emergency response facilities to provide police, fire or medical assistance.
