With one embodiment, the glove-to-retainer connection means include a pouch-mounted hook-or-loop connector attached to a back side of the first article retention pouch and include a complementary glove-mounted loop-or-hook connector attached to the glove back side. With another embodiment, the glove-to-retainer connection means include flexible hinge members connected between the glove portion and a combination of pouches, enabling the combination of pouches to be readily flipped from the glove back side to the glove palm side and vice versa.
