Abstract:     A wearable audio interface includes a support for positioning the plurality of speakers juxtaposed to and spaced from the ears of a wearer. The audio device can include wireless networking electronics so as to allow the device to interact with other wireless network devices.

No. 10/628,212, filed Jul. 28, 2003, which claims priority benefit under 35 U.S.C. § 19(e) from U.S. Provisional Application Nos. 60/399,317, filed Jul. 26, 2002, and 60/460,154 filed Apr. 3, 2003, the disclosures of all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

    1. An eyeglass, comprising:

at least one lens;

a support for supporting the at least one lens in the path of a wearer's field of view;

a first ear stem attached to the support, for extending in a posterior direction along a first side of the wearer's head;

a second ear stem attached to the support, for extending in a posterior direction along a second side of the wearer's head;

at least one microphone housing supported by the support, the housing supporting at least one microphone, the microphone being arranged to face forwardly and generally towards a mouth of a wearer of the eyeglass frame;

a transceiver supported by at least one of the support, the first ear stem, and the second ear stem, the transceiver being configured to wirelessly transmit a digital signal representative of an output of the microphone; and

a wind noise reducing device disposed in front of the microphone so as to reduce wind hitting the microphone, the wind noise reducing device being shaped complimentarily to portions of the housing surrounding the microphone.
