| Abstract: |
The bandage can be simply applied to a body part and facilitates an easy, comfortable fit without any risk of slipping. A pocket (10) serving to accommodate money, identification papers or other documents is worked into the bandage. The contents of the pocket are safeguarded against falling out by a flap (14) which is attached, projects beyond the pocket opening (13) and on to the inside of which a touch-and-close fastener part (16) is sewn, the counter-part (17) of which is located on the pocket. The bandage comprises an elastic bandage material (1) whose long sides are flanged by an elastic ribbon (2, 4) by means of elastic seams (3, 5). A touch-and-close fastener part (6) is sewn on to one end. Another touch-and-close fastener part serving as a counter-part is sewn on to the opposite bandage end. These closure parts can be adjusted to suit different circumferences of the body. <IMAGE>
