A small electric vehicle, which is intended in particular for transporting a disabled person, has handlebars which can be folded over towards the seat, are equipped with switching and operating elements and can be locked in the individual positions. The seat can be pivoted about a vertical axis and can be locked in a pivoted position. The electric vehicle offers the interesting possibility for the disabled person sitting on it to be able to drive into a car suitable therefor. If the electric vehicle is fixed with clamps or the like in this car and the seat pivoted, the disabled person can then steer the car to the destination, can drive out there if desired and can drive around at the destination using the small electric vehicle. The electric vehicle according to the invention is also suitable for transporting small loads.

Kleines Elektrofahrzeug, insbesondere zum Transport von gehbehinderten Personen, bestehend aus einer flachen Bodenplatte geringer Bodenfreiheit mit darauf leicht herausnehmbar angeordneter Batterie, Antriebsmotor, zwei Hinterraedern, einem mittels Lenkstange lenkbaren Vorderrad und einem im hinteren Bereich der Bodenplatte angeordneten Sitz, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lenkstange (3) mit den daran befindlichen Schalt- und Bedienungselementen von wenigstens einer nach oben ragenden Betriebsstellung um eine horizontale Achse in eine im wesentlichen horizontale Ruhestellung schwenkbar und sowohl in Betriebsstellung als auch in Ruhestellung wahlweise arretierbar und loesbar ist.
