| Abstract: |
A solid metal heat exchanger 1 will be arranged externally and wound around the exhaust gases pipe immediately downstream of the exhaust manifold of the engine block. The outlet of this exchanger will be directed inside an insulated ventilation box 3. In this box a fan 4 will blow ambient air over the exchanger 1. The air heated over the exchanger will be directed by means of a duct 5 to the distribution line 6 which will be arranged in immediate proximity to and above the drive wheels. Hot air leaving the line will heat the tread of the tyre up to the maximum permissible temperature laid down by the manufacturer's standards. <IMAGE>
