Guards for frames.-Pneumatic leg and hand guards for cricket and football players are provided with air chambers which can be readily detached from the guards. As shown, a legguard for cricketers comprises pneumatic tubes b, Figs. 1 and 6, located within pockets formed in a leather or like body a. The upper and rear portion of the body is formed with openings f for the inflating-pipes d of the tubes, and is lined with leather c. The pipes are closed by means of strings. or rubber rings and covered by a flap which is laced to the eyelets e, Fig. 4 on the body. The lower part of the body in lined with leather c and provided with eyelets e so that the bottom of the body may be closed by lacing after the tubes have been inserted.
