846.425. Spectacle frames. METROPOLITAN WHOLESALE OPTICAL SUPPLY CO. Ltd. April 14, 1959 [April 15, 1958], No. 11991/58. Class 97(1) A spectacle frame has at least one decorauve component held thereon by magnetic attraction. As shown, each temporal end of the spectacle front has embedded therein a permanent magnet 12 which retains on the front a decorative component consisting of a plate of magnetic material secured to a plastic plate 15. Movement in the plane of the spectacle front is prevented by dowels 17 entering holes 13 in the spectacle front.
