[Also in Group XXV] A spectacle frame temple member has means for retaining it on the wearer's head comprising an elongated elastic member, one end of which is wrapped tightly round the rear portion of the temple member and the other end provides a projection extending downwards. In the embodiment shown, a rubber strip is formed with a slit 12 at one end and a series of projections 18 at the other end; so that by threading projection 16 through the slit 12 a loop of varying size may be formed with end 16, at least, projecting from it.
