Abstract: |
PURPOSE: To efficiently establish connection by generating an interrupting request to a related processor when a calling code is made coincident with an identification signal received on a multi-drip link, and applying the identification signal.
CONSTITUTION: A recognizing circuit monitors all parallel (n-1) transmission lines from a multiple multi-drop link, and when the calling code of a processor appears on any of those transmission lines, the recognizing circuit increases an interrupting request(IRQ) output, and binary display on an arbitrary line from which the calling code is transmitted is placed on, for example, a calling code output 16E. Therefore, the processor can recognize not only that the attention is being requested, but also who is requesting. The IRQ output is connected with an interruption request line which is already existing in the processor. When this interruption line is activated, the processor can recognize that another processor is requesting connection with it, and the identification code of a caller is applied to a caller code output terminal. Thus, the connection can be efficiently established.
