Abstract: |
Computers (110,150) are connected by a data communication link. A library of functions are provided in one computer system for accessing information on other computer system. A conduit program in a database which comprises a computer program for performing a specific data transfer task, is registered. : A conduit program database is created for storing a list of conduit programs that may be executed. A conduit program is registered by placing an identifier in the conduit database. A set of conduit program identified with the database from a manager program are successively executed. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the apparatus for transferring information between two computers.
