Abstract: An electrical cable includes a central elongated electrical conductor, an electrical insulator concentrically surrounding the electrical conductor, and a heat sensitive reacting material responsive to temperature adjacent the insulator whereby the visually reacting material is activated upon the occurrence of a heat producing malfunction in the cable.
