A method for preventing a person from snoring while sleeping comprising affixing a narrow strip having an adhesive backing, extending from under the person's chin or from the sides of the nose to under the person's chin, over the center of the mouth and upper and lower lips of the person, tightly enough to prevent the person's mouth from opening during sleep any more than a very small opening but loosely enough to allow the person to both breath and talk through the mouth.
