	First Claim: Show all 37 claims			1. An article of eye wear worn externally upon an eye, the article comprising a wavelength transmission blocker having a lutein assimilated therein for preventing radical damage in the eye, the wavelength transmission blocker being sized and configured to maximize visual acuity and block at least 80% of light wavelengths throughout a blue light spectrum set in a range from about 400 nm to about 510 nm.
