In 2007, we launched Thomson Innovation® as our next-generation IP product with the goal of providing a solution that better serves the IP research and analysis needs of our customers. With its far superior patent coverage, best-of-breed search and analysis features, and enterprise collaboration capabilities, Thomson Innovation has enjoyed tremendous success in the market. Most of our former Derwent World Patents Index® (DWPISM) on Delphion® customers have completed their migration to Thomson Innovation, and we are now announcing that DWPI on Delphion will no longer be available after March 31, 2012.
If you would still like to utilize DWPI data, please contact your account rep about migrating to Thomson Innovation. By migrating to Thomson Innovation:
- You will have continuous and seamless access to your stored Delphion searches and strategies, plus you will continue to receive the alerts that you created. Your Thomson Innovation subscription includes an automated migration tool to help you transfer your saved work from Delphion to your Thomson Innovation account.
- You'll gain access to a host of additional content, all fully integrated with DWPI data. This allows you to search DWPI data, including Manual Codes, and full-text data all at the same time; view DWPI and full-text data in a single record view; analyze DWPI search results in market-leading analysis tools like ThemeScape; and save and share integrated work files with both full-text and DWPI data together. And you can also choose to subscribe to the unparalleled English-language coverage of the Asia-Pacific region, as well as scientific literature, business and news data.
- You'll have access to a wealth of functionality that enables you to customize and optimize search and analysis of DWPI data, all within an environment that supports and facilitates collaboration with your colleagues and the workflows that drive your IP processes.
