What it is: PatentLab-II is an analytical and visualization tool that enables the creation of 2D and 3D graphs and charts comprised of your Result Set. You can visualize relationships among large selections of patent data through a wide variety of customizable charts, graphs, tables, and reports, providing insight into patent information that might go unobserved in a manual review of documents. You can quickly get an overall picture of your data through ready-made reports. A wizard is available to assist in creating a visual presentation of patent information based on assignee, inventor, patent class, priority or patent year, or country. [back to top] Access PatentLab data format from the Data Extract tab: Download patent data in the PatentLab format from the Data Extract tab on your Result Set or Work File interface. Download the PatentLab-II application here. [back to top] How it works: Your entire Result Set up to 20,000 patents can be analyzed. Upon completion of the ordering process, your customized data file is downloaded to you. When you open the data file (with the PatentLab-II program), an Analysis Wizard prompts you through the creation of your charts and graphs. [back to top] How to begin:
