The Original Assignee feature in Corporate Tree helps you find US patent records for your targeted Assignee -- even when those records are filed under different variations of the Assignee's name. This means you don't need to perform separate searches for each variation of the name.
Hierarchy
The Hierarchy feature in Corporate Tree shows you how an Assignee name fits into a corporate hierarchy that takes into account mergers and acquisitions. And then lets you search for patents by selecting Assignee names from within that corporate hierarchy display. This means you can find applications and patents filed by companies that no longer exist and whose patents have been reassigned.
