The online version of the St. Petersburg Times recently interviewed Tom Griffin, curator of Delphion Research's Gallery of Obscure Patents and featured the gallery in a news story about Floridian inventors.
Two gallery favorites, the "pants separable at crotch for style mixing" and the "gravity powered shoe air conditioner," were patented by Floridians. Perhaps the warm weather inspires creativity?
