Thomson Delphion now offers access to full-text patent specifications for over four million additional patents from national collections worldwide, bringing the number of patent images available on Delphion to over 10 million. This expanded coverage allows users to simplify and consolidate their patent research efforts onto one robust research platform.

"With the instant availability of these documents, Delphion is continuing to help its customers increase productivity."
These national collection documents can be accessed by searching the INPADOC collection on Delphion. One of the most comprehensive patent collections in the world, INPADOC contains patent family documents from 71 world patent signatories and legal status information from 42 patent offices. Delphion brings together both of these pieces of information into a single searchable database and makes available 30 million patent family documents and 45 million legal status actions.
"The enhanced access to patent images on Delphion is possible through integration with the Thomson Patent Store," said Michael Lipp, Senior Vice President, Industrial Property Markets for Thomson Scientific. "It is an excellent example of the quick synergies resulting from the integration of Delphion into the Thomson Scientific group."
These newly-added images can be bulk downloaded with the Delphion PDF Express tool or viewed and saved one-by-one from a Result Set. PDF Express allows fast download of up to 500 patent documents in a convenient, annotated zipped file. Images not readily available for download can be special ordered and delivered via email.
