Now you can order file histories as quickly and easily as you order any Delphion patent product. Order right from your Result Set, the Delphion order form — or from the Integrated View. You can choose to download your file history or have it sent to you on CD-ROM or paper. Your file history will come from MicroPatent, a sister Thomson Scientific company, and the largest commercial provider of US file histories in the world. Charges can be billed to your Delphion account or your MicroPatent, Faxpat, or Optipat account. And, if you have a File History Premium account, your discount still applies.
Files histories are up-to-date accounts of the prosecution history for published or granted patent cases. Also called "file wrappers," they contain all documentation of the correspondence between the examiner at the patent office and the applicant or their representatives.
A team of industry professionals use state-of-the-art OCR and scanning equipment to quickly give you accurate and complete file histories. When ordering your file history as a download or CD-ROM, you can request a searchable file so you can easily pinpoint the information you need. In addition, we can provide all US and non-US patent references as well as non-patent citations found on the face of the patent.
Our in-house inventory of over 120,000 of the most requested file histories means that many of the file histories you want will be available in near real-time. Download your file histories at your convenience or select one of many shipping options for your CD-ROM or paper file history orders.
File histories can be ordered right from your Delphion Result Set using the new File Histories tool tab, from the order form, and directly from your Delphion Integrated View.
You can have your file history charges billed on your Delphion order or billed to your MicroPatent, Faxpat, or Optipat account. If you have a File History Premium account, your discounts will still apply, regardless of which type of account your charges are billed against.
