Image Viewing Options Overview Patent images can be viewed in both high and low resolution. They can be magnified, reduced, rotated, and cloned. When viewing a patent, a set of thumbnail images displays allowing you to quickly navigate to the image/page of the patent you want to view next. This is particularly useful when the patent includes a large number of drawings because you can immediately select the page that is most likely to be of interest. You can access patent images from your Result Set or from your Delphion Integrated View. Images on your Result Set Unlimited and Premier subscribers have the option of displaying a thumbnail view of the first page image or representative drawing for each of your patents right from the Result Set page. Clicking the thumbnail opens a high-resolution copy of the image in an Acrobat Reader viewer, along with thumbnails of the other pages that can be used to navigate through the patent if desired. ![]() High-resolution Images from the Delphion Integrated View High-resolution viewing loads the patent into an Acrobat Reader viewer one page at a time, with thumbnail-sized displays of other pages. Premier and Unlimited subscribers can navigate through a patent by clicking on the thumbnails or by using the standard navigation available in Acrobat Reader. Low-resolution Images from the Delphion Integrated View Low-resolution viewing does not require any plug-ins and loads the image quickly into a new window. Thumbnails also display for the other pages of the patent. Premier and Unlimited subscribers can navigate through a patent by clicking on the thumbnails or by using the special viewer navigation. Availability High-resolution Image Viewing is available to Unlimited and Premier subscribers. Basic users can only see the front page in high-resolution. Thumbnail Images on the Result Set are available to Unlimited and Premier subscribers. Low-resolution Image Viewing is available to all registered users. [back to top] |
