Work Files are personalized lists of patent records you create and save. They can be lists of frequently referenced patents, groups of patents in a given portfolio, competitive inventions or client project files. Once you've created a Work File, you can share it, Snapshot it, Cluster it, and add comments or attach files to it. Your Work Files can contain just patent office records, just Derwent records, or both.
Work Files help you organize your work, be more productive, and collaborate.
It's easy to create and use Work Files. Set up as many Work Files as you need, and easily manipulate and manage them:
- Save up to 20,000 patents in your Work File
- Include both patent office and Derwent records
- Quickly change the name, description, or display parameters
- Easily add or delete files
- Append additional patents from a Result Set or Class List
- Share Work Files with coworkers or clients
- Merge and clone Work Files using AND, OR and AND NOT functionality
Work Files complement Delphion Saved Searches. While Saved Searches allow you to save a query string and rerun it to produce updated search results, Work Files allow you to save the actual Result Set or group of individual patent records. Your Work Files function like a file folder containing personalized versions of your Result Sets.

It's easy to share a Work File. Share with individuals, your whole company or group, or the public:
- Individuals you share with receive an email containing a link which will add that Work File to their Work File list
- Company or group sharing adds the Work File to the Work File lists of each Delphion user in your company or group account
- Share with the public and create a page on the Delphion website where a broad audience can view your Work File
- Shared Work File recipients who are not registered Delphion users will be asked to register as free, basic users before viewing shared Work Files
And Work File annotations make collaboration effortless. Annotate Work Files with comments and attachments:
- Add comments that reference the whole Work File or comment on individual patents
- Attach spreadsheets, graphics, text files as you see fit to explain, document, enhance, and validate the contents of the Work File
- Keep your comments and attachments private or share them
- Store up to 50 MB of attachments with your Work File

Pricing
Work Files are free for all subscribers and Basic registrants.
Delphion Unlimited subscribers can create, share, and add comments and attachments to Work Files at no additional cost. 1 MB free storage for attachments is provided. 50 MB storage can be purchased for $25.00 per month.
Delphion Premier subscribers can create, share, and add comments to Work Files at no additional cost. Premier subscribers can add attachments to Work Files that have been shared with them, but not to their own Work Files.
Basic users can view Work Files that have been shared with them, but cannot initiate Work File sharing. Basic users can add comments or attachments to Work Files that have been shared with them, but not to their own Work Files.
